At Ondol Clinic, we’re not just passionate about holistic health; we’re also dedicated to making a positive impact on the world around us. That’s why our valued and possibly fittest practitioner Alice Whitehouse, is taking on an inspiring challenge for a great purpose and joining a trail walk in August.
What is Oxfam Trail Walker?
Oxfam Trail walker is one of the most inspiring team challenges in the world. It’s not your average walk in the park; it’s a 100km, 55km, or 30km bush trail that teams of 3 to 6 people conquer within 40 hours. The teams start together, stick together, and finish together. It’s tough, physically and mentally but with the right training and attitude, the sense of achievement upon crossing the finish line is something unforgettable.
Alice thrives on physical challenges, so she goes for the biggest challenge, the 100km one. She and her mates have been training for months.
Last weekend she completed one of two 50km training walks from Lake Manchester to Mount Coot-Tha, that took just over eight hours to complete.
At the end of August, she will together with her team, be trekking through the Sydney bush, determined to overcome every obstacle and create lasting change.
A Life-Changing Walk with a Global Impact
By raising money for Oxfam, Alice and her team are making a significant difference in the lives of people impacted by poverty. Every step they take can help communities change their future for the better. The funds raised will support Oxfam’s essential work worldwide, touching the lives of countless individuals and families.
