At Ondol Clinic, we believe that great care starts with continuous learning. That’s why we’re proud to share that our senior acupuncturists, Kelly and Hae-Uk, recently took part in the New and Advanced Topics in KMS Acupuncture seminar, presented by the internationally respected Kiiko Matsumoto Sensei.
Held in Sydney earlier this year, the seminar brought together practitioners from around the country to explore new developments in the Kiiko Matsumoto Style (KMS)—a unique, palpation-based acupuncture approach that integrates classical Chinese medicine with Japanese diagnostic techniques.
Over the intensive weekend, Kelly and Hae-Uk had the opportunity to study:
-
Advanced abdominal and channel palpation methods for more accurate diagnosis
-
New techniques for treating stubborn or complex conditions
-
Refined needling strategies that enhance effectiveness and patient comfort
-
Clinical approaches to support autoimmune and neurological disorders
Learning directly from Kiiko Matsumoto Sensei—whose decades of clinical experience and dedication to the craft are recognised worldwide—was both inspiring and incredibly valuable.
At Ondol, we’re committed to providing care that is not only compassionate but also grounded in the most current and effective clinical practices. This ongoing professional development means Kelly and Hae-Uk are now equipped with even deeper insights and skills to support your health with precision and care.
We’re excited to integrate these advanced techniques into your treatments and continue offering high-quality Traditional East Asian Medicine right here in Brisbane.
