Our First Acupuncture Training for 2018

The new year started with a bang for us at Ondol Clinic. Last weekend we began our ongoing acupuncture training for 2018 and over the Christmas break the Ondol Clinic premises at 129 Sylvan Road, Toowong received a lovely fresh paint job. So now we are all ready to tackle this brand new year.

Our beloved teacher, Shimamura Sensei, and his fabulous interpreter Seishiro Hokazono from Japan, paid us a visit in Brisbane and got us back into the swing of things with invaluable teachings.

This time it was all about female issues from menarche to menopause. As always, we learnt a lot of new tricks of the trade and consolidated our previous knowledge. We covered a broad spectrum of dysfunctions, from amenorrhea, uterine fibroids, infertility, morning sickness, poor lactation to hot flushes and menopausal insomnia. Shimamura Sensei emphasised the link between functional problems and structural misalignments of the spine and hip, which have to be addressed energetically and physically to produce optimal results.
