Gale began her career in the health industry in 1994 as a Group Fitness Trainer, became then a Personal Trainer and continued to work in the fitness industry for nine years.  She developed fitness programs for a broad range of people, from Vietnams veterans to marathon runners.

Her scope of work included fitness plans for disabled youth, the elderly and post-mastectomy patients who needed to restore strength, mobility and flexibility.
One of Gale’s highlights as a PT was her coaching of a teenage BMX world champion and a school-aged national titles swimmer.

After almost a decade in the fitness industry, Gale decided for a sea change in her career and began work in a laboratory and later in account management.
The demanding workload left little time to balance family life and relaxation. Moreover, she found office work increasingly unfulfilling.

She decided to return to her real love, the health and fitness sector. In 2007 Gale enrolled in the studies of massage therapy, a career she had kept in the back of her mind for many years. For the next twelve years, Gale followed her passion working in private practice and multi-modality clinics in Brisbane and surroundings.

During her massage career Gale studied Spinal Reflex Therapy. This specific form of bodywork reduces chronically activated muscle reflexes, which switch on permanently when people suffer from chronic stress and can cause constant muscle tension, pain and dysfunction. This therapy allows the affected muscles to return to their former strength and flexibility.

Recently, Gale completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage and a Certificate in Aromatherapy, after graduating with a Bachelor of Complementary Medicine in 2018, which enables her to advise clients broadly of their choices in this medical field.

Gale loves working with a diverse range of people, from children to the elderly by putting together her extensive experience of personal training, bodywork and holistic health assessment into her massage therapy.

Her particular interests lie in stress management and chronic pain as well as mental and emotional wellbeing.
