Biography

Ondol-Line-White-Horizontal

Kelly is the founder of Ondol Oriental Medicine Clinic and brings over 35 years of experience in healthcare and East Asian medicine. Originally trained as a registered and paediatric nurse, she later completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, with training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and Tui Na massage.

Kelly has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in both China and Japan, including studies at Hangzhou Red Cross Hospital and advanced training in Japanese Meridian Therapy and Toyohari acupuncture. Through years of clinical practice and mentorship with respected Japanese practitioners, she has developed a strong focus on gentle Japanese-style acupuncture, known for its refined, precise, and highly individualised approach to treatment.

Her clinical interests include women’s health, perimenopause and menopause support, stress and anxiety, chronic pain, fatigue, digestive health, and complex chronic conditions. She is passionate about preventative medicine and providing compassionate, patient-centred care that supports long-term health, wellbeing, and lifestyle balance.

Kelly also has a special interest in supportive cancer care, with a focus on helping patients strengthen wellbeing, maintain quality of life, and feel supported alongside their medical treatment journey.

She especially enjoys working with babies and children using Shōnishin, a gentle Japanese style of paediatric acupuncture, and remains deeply committed to ongoing learning and integrating traditional wisdom with modern healthcare approaches.
