Stress is an ever present part of our daily life and while this in itself is not necessarily a great problem, the way that we cope with it can be. Some people have a harder time in expressing their emotions and struggles, consequently finding the pressures of a stressful lifestyle overwhelming.  Stress can show up in various ways such as insomnia, anxiety, irritability, inability to concentrate or even a loss of interest and enthusiasm. Acupuncture has a long and proven record of effectively dealing with such symptoms  and restoring emotional balance and calm. 

In Oriental medicine there is no separation between the body, mind and spirit. That which affects one area of our health and life will affect all others. Our modern lifestyle is filled with a variety of  pressures and these will invariably have some impact on our physical, mental and emotional health. Acupuncture has a proven history of treating the negative effects of these stresses by bringing balance back into our lives.
